Since 1933 Jac Rijk is active in the field of earthmoving, mineral extraction, hydraulic engineering works, and road and dam construction.

In 1992 Jac Rijk also established in Suriname, where it has grown to a team of over 100 professional and motivated workers; all specialized in their field of work. Regular training in safety, technology and procedures does not only ensure efficient and safe operations, but also continuous improvement in the labor process. Our commitment to extremely strict health and safety requirements is only achieved through outstanding training and continuing development of our employees. Investing in our people, we also require important.

This also means that we continually invest in our equipment. Therefore, we use the ‘one brand’ philosophy and work only with industry leader Caterpillar. Jac Rijk engineers are therefore specialists and provide an effective maintenance of our equipment. The continuous equipment fleet and daily preventive maintenance system prevent stagnation whereby we can finish according to our planning and maintain the satisfaction of all our clients.
